How many black t-shirts do you think Jerry had? Do you think he had a favorite one? Why black?.........?

I like to think it was in homage to Johnny Cash. Probably not, but thats what I like to think.

Because it's better than the alternatives.

Or maybe his black attire was worn in homage to THE BLACK.

my thought was always that also - as well as the fact black hides armpit sweat stains so very well.

I think he wore just black because that was one more decision he no longer had to make.

AC/DC wrote a song about Jerry's Black T

Back in the back
Of a Cadillac
Number one with a bullet, I'm a power pack
Yes, I'm in a bang
With a gang
They've got to catch me if they want me to hang
Cause I'm back on the track
And I'm leadin' the pack
Nobody's gonna get me on another rap
So look at me now
I'm just makin' my play
Don't try to push your luck, just get out of my way

Tell me that is not about Jerry & his Tee

;~)

Didn't Phil say in his book that he had 5??

When they went to check out his new house, they went into this huge walk in closet and all he had hanging in there was 5 black t-shirts. I'm guessing they were all his favorite since he took the time to hang them up and all....
